Natural bridal makeup can be fresh and understated, softly defined, or a little more polished. The goal is not to make every bride look the same. It is to create a balanced look that feels true to your preferences and the occasion.
Karissa is based in Grass Valley and provides mobile, on-location service. Share your venue, date, party size, and ready-by time so she can personally review the practical details.
Submitting your details does not confirm a booking. Karissa reviews every inquiry personally, including location and the services your group may need, before following up.
Investment & planning
On-location wedding beauty starts at a $500 minimum. Salon services in Auburn start at $210. After you check your date, Karissa follows up with a clear proposal for your location, party size, and requested services.

Trial fees do not credit toward wedding-day services. A $150 non-refundable deposit holds the wedding date and goes toward makeup services.
What’s included
Bridal makeup includes skin prep; a custom complexion with long-wear application; eyes, brows, cheeks, and lips shaped to your preference; false lashes; a final check in the light you’ll actually be seen in; and timeline coordination for the beauty portion of the morning.
Attendants receive individualized looks, so the party feels coordinated rather than copied. Bridal hair and help placing a veil or hair accessory are available upon request.

Bridal beauty trials
Trials are offered and optional. Request one when you check your date, and Karissa will coordinate. An engagement shoot or bridal-party gathering can be a wonderful time for a trial.
Come to the Auburn salon for a $50 service fee, or have Karissa travel to you at $1.75 per mile, round trip. Bridal makeup trials are $200; bridal hair and makeup trials are $450. Trial fees do not apply as wedding-day credit.
Please arrive with a clean face. Bring a favorite lipstick if you have one.
Timing
Karissa arrives 20 minutes early to set up her station. Final start time is built backward from your ready-by time once headcounts are confirmed.

Party size
Karissa works on her own with parties of up to eight, whether the morning is makeup only or hair and makeup. For more than eight, an assistant is optional and added case by case. The same service prices apply, plus a $200 assistant fee.
Travel
Karissa is based in Grass Valley and also sees clients at her salon in Auburn. The Auburn salon service fee is $50. When Karissa comes to you, mileage is $1.75 per mile, round trip, plus the $75 on-location start fee. On-location wedding beauty has a $500 minimum.
If the venue is more than two hours away, or the start time is very early, hotel accommodation is required and you cover the room. Exact travel appears in your proposal—not as a surprise on the morning.
How booking works
The balance is due 7 days before the wedding. Payments are accepted by Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, or Cash App. A contract is required. Cancellation and reschedule terms are in the agreement.
Lashes, skin & on-site time
False lashes are included for the bride and attendants. Please come with clean, hydrated skin. When the day needs it, Karissa can sometimes stay on site for touch-ups at $125 per hour.
